Dylan still loves the dinosaur song. Especially when Denny pulls out the guitar (when Dylan says guitar it comes out sounding more like "towel"). Denny came up with this super fast version and Dylan dances as fast as he can to it. Too funny.
I think my little guy is currently on track to becoming an art director. He'll start drawing and then realize he needs mommy or daddy to come draw on his paper. He directs us to draw big circles and tiny circles or big Y's or T's or W's (when he says W it is sooo cute...it comes out like "dubbawoo". His letter requests are usually pretty random, but they are almost always accompanied by a very forceful "big" or "tiny".
Counting has become a favorite pasttime in our house these days. Dylan usually goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10. He gets the 1-5 correct most every time, but then he jumps around a bit. He likes to count things in books, count the baby gates, count stairs, and funniest of all, count the "milk" (he's still breastfeeding). And did I mention that his word for milk sounds a lot like "goat"? He says so many words so well (like "quesadilla" funnily enough), but then some other words get shortchanged and sound just like other ones (like cracker, dinosaur and puddle....which all come out sounding like "crackho"). So, our little one says "peeeeasssse....crack ho....." when he wants a snack. We laugh a lot in our house, can you tell?
