This looks delicious!! My husband will love this. We (or at least I) want to go to Japan after our tour in Germany, but I am not sure if they will allow it. Husband is currently in Korea, then we are going to Germany so that is already considered two overseas back to back bases... not sure if they will give us a third :(

My brother and his family were stationed in Yokosuka for 4 years. They said the same thing as you - they loved it and they miss it!
This is a fantastic recipe. I'll have to make it special for them next time they visit - I know they would love it!

Looks wonderful and easy! Saving this to try sometime in the future. Definitely trying out that side note about the brown rice. I have the worst luck with brown rice!
