
I tried this cake for the first time at my friend Miwako's house for playgroup. It's a yummy, rich, chocolaty cake and I (of course) asked for the recipe. The cake is not an American style super sweet cake. It has more of a Japanese taste. The desserts we had in Japan were always more about the flavors than about the sweetness.
Toddler Note: Dylan didn't mind at all that this wasn't super sweet....he loved it anyway. He has to have his plain though, no topping for him (he doesn't know what he's missing).

Easy Chocolate Cake with Tofu
2 eggs
70g sugar
150g soft tofu (no need to squeeze out water)
70g heavy cream
110-120g chocolate
1T rum
60g flour
30g cocoa powder
1. Heat cream and before boiling remove from heat source, add chocolate and sitr to mix. Heat oven to 180 degrees celcius (356F).
2. In the mixer, mix egg and sugar, add tofu and mix until smooth. Add rum and #1 and mix.
3. Add in cocoa and flour and mix few seconds at a time.
4. Bake in hot water bath 35-40 min.
Note: I topped the cake with freshly whipped cream and strawberries.
